本课时教学内容是整合PEP五年级上册第一单元My Teachers的内容。除了温故,还适量的增加了一些新知。本课时主要运用描述人物相貌特征的形容词以及描述他人相貌特征的交际用语等。教学目标:1、认识目标:(1)能听懂,会说“My teacher is a man/woman.He/She is tall/short. He /She has long/short hair. He /She has a …”并能熟练运用。(2)能听、说、认读tall, short ,kind, strict, active, magic, stick,broom,glasses,pill等单词和词组。2、能力目标:(1)能利用本课的形容词句来描述自己的老师。(2)能结合新旧知识完成描述外貌猜测身份的游戏,提高综合运用语言的能力。3、情感态度目标:(1)努力创造一种和谐、平等、宽松的课堂氛围,让学生乐于学习,敢于表达,交流自己的看法和想法。(2)注重培养与人交往的能力。4、文化意识目标:增加老师之间的友谊,建立三人行必有我师的概念。教学重、难点1. 教学重点:(1)能够听、说、认读词汇tall, short ,kind, strict, active, magic,stick, broom, glasses, pill等。(2)能够向别人简单介绍自己的朋友及其外貌特征,如:My teacher is a man/woman.He/She is tall/short. He /She has long/short hair. He /She has a … 2. 教学难点:(1)能够理解并掌握句型“He / She has...”中have, has的用法区别;(2)能够让学生根据提示,模仿写出片段。

一.复习旧知,引入故事

首先,课前的热身活动。为了让学生进入英语学习的环境,我首先向学生们进行打招呼,问好。然后通过say opposite words.引出四,五年级学过的形容词。接着通过快速闪现句子,引出故事的主人公:Harry Potter.

 二.创造情景,呈现故事

The first teacher: My teacher is a woman. She’s not young. She’s tall. She is strict, but kind. She has a magic stick.

The second teacher: My teacher is a man. He is young and active. He has a pair of magic glasses.

The third teacher: My teacher is a woman. She has a _______, a pair of_______. She is smart and quiet. She has a magic broom.
